The Bell has been a time-honored institution at St. Stephen’s Episcopal School, almost from the moment ground was broken on the hill in 1950. As a school that prides itself on encouraging open discourse and enabling critical thinking, The Bell has been a community voice for many, many decades. We are an eclectic place, and it is not surprising that there have been several different iterations of our school newspaper—from a photo-copied stapled packet of pages, to a glossy bound “magazine,” to a PDF during COVID-19. We are thrilled to join the 21st century and start a new phase as a website. Please enjoy!
